1965-1969 OPC/Topps Hockey Collection inc. Phil Esposito RC, Multiple Bobby Orr’s
|My favourite hockey sets were issued in the mid to late 60’s, especially the 1965-1969 OPC/Topps hockey issues. I have always loved the design of the various issues and the players were a great mix of the classic regime (Howe, Hull, Horton, Plante) and the new, young blood that was coming into the NHL and re-invigorating the game or in the case of one player (Bobby Orr) re-inventing it! Watch as I open the latest collection sent to me in the mall for evaluation and purchase. Please read the letter the owner of the cards sent to me after I purchased the collection from him!
If you reside in Canada, and have old hockey, baseball, CFL or non-sports cards, rare, historical sports memorabilia, or high end newer cards from the 2000’s, and you do not want to spend your evenings and weekends doing all the labour involved with trying to sell them yourself online, all you need to do is box your stuff up and send it to me! If you have any concerns, I hope the numerous letters of testimony from people who have dealt with me, such as this gentleman ease your worries! You can give me a call anytime to discuss what you have (604-726-1774) or e-mail me at info@aasportscards.com.
Here is the letter the seller wrote me about his experience selling me his hockey cards…
I finally decided to dredge up my childhood hockey cards and set about trying to determine their value. After scouring eBay and a few cards buyers in the US and learning about card grading, I realized that selling the cards on my own would be a time sucking horror show! I found Mike Chark of AA Sports Cards in a Google search and I am glad I did! He was located in Canada which meant I did not have to risk sending my cards off to the States. I e-mailed Mike, and what I got back was a surprisingly frank overview of how he operates, his selling margins and an offer to send him my collection. I wasn’t dubious because his business is highly visible and he was forthcoming in our dialogues.
I boxed up my cards, sent them, and a few days later, Mike made me a very fair offer! Mike claims to make “selling your collection easy”. He actually does, and I’d recommend him to anyone looking to sell their card collection.
