1950’s Maurice Richard School Bag w/ Letter Of Testimony From The Seller!
I purchased this from the original owner who shared it with his brother in the 1950’s. They must have been the envy of everyone in their school as they carted their homework and school supplies inside this leather back pack. Every kid would have “instantly” known who their favourite player was! Through the ensuing decades this item was kept, salvaged from spring cleaning’s or the brothers getting older and discovering girls, rock and roll or other things that usually spelled the end of childhood!
Fast forward to today and this piece shows its age but somehow the intense, fiery glare of “The Rocket” still resonates through the weathered leather (“as if” time could ever erase that)!
