Historic Mark Messier Game Used Stick to Record His 1000th Assist
|Mark Messier Game Used Stick
On January 10, 1998 Mark Messier became just the twelfth player in the history of the NHL to record 1,000 assists (hockeyreference.com). He reached this incredible milestone off an Alexander Mogilny goal en route to a 2-2 tie between the Vancouver Canucks and the Florida Panthers. Sitting in the stands that night, was 11 year old super fan Zach Berman whose father had season tickets behind the Canucks bench. Please listen to a now grown up Zach as he recounts how Messier handed him the very stick he used to reach this milestone. Then, watch as I purchase this historic piece of lumber directly from him!
Mr. Berman’s search for a reputable cash buyer led directly to me! If you have rare sports memorabilia and want to sell it, give me a call (604-726-1774) or e-mail me at info@aasportscards.com.
