Michael Chark and CTV’s Ross McLaughlin Talk Olympic Souvenirs
|As they say in Vancouver, when it rains, it pours! Over the years, I’ve been been in the news from time to time for local stories on sports memorabilia and collecting, but normally my appearances are a little more spread than they were last week. Last Wednesday (Februrary 12, 2020), not only did I appear at Jack Poole Plaza on CTV Morning Live, but I also appeared on the CTV Local News throughout the day in a segment with Ross McLaughlin on Vancouver 2010 souvenirs. The studio was chock full of Vancouver 2010 souvenirs, but you may (or may not) be surprised to hear that there weren’t too many items of great value on display. There was, however, one very cool item that I believe would interest collectors and have significant value were it ever put up for auction. On a related note, The Bay has brought back their classic Olympic mittens in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Vancouver Games. Pick up a pair if you want to keep hands your warm, but if your buying with a view to a future investment, don’t count on retiring on your, “Mint Olympic Mittens!” As always, if you have sports memorabilia, cards, or game used equipment, please give me at 604-726-1774 or email info@aasportscards.com. Thanks again for reading!
